Shreveport, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a dependable and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role requires close collaboration with department managers, production staff, and suppliers. The right candidate will take full ownership of final product inspections, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards. This position is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and minimizing rework or scrap costs.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and documentation
- Monitor and report on all Quality Assurance and Control aspects of assigned work
- Ensure full traceability of parts and documentation throughout the inspection process
- Complete and maintain inspection reports and related documentation to required standards
- Verify the accuracy of all parts and components before final approval
- Maintain clear records for certification and audit compliance
Requirements/Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on dimensional inspection experience using tools such as calipers, OD micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
- Solid grasp of GD&T drawings and Critical Dimension Reports
- Ability to review and understand MTRs and NDT certifications
- Working knowledge of coating processes is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) during inspections
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access parts and inspection equipment
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
