Overview:
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Bespoke Tailor for a luxury fashion house.

Essential Duties:

• Pattern Making: Create precise paper patterns based on clients' measurements, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all custom garments. Maintain organized patterns for future use.

• Garment Construction: Cut fabrics, sew, and assemble garments with precision, from suits and shirts to more intricate custom pieces, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.

• Fittings and Alterations: Conduct fittings, identify areas for adjustment, and make alterations to achieve flawless fits and exceed client expectations.

• Fabric and Style Advising: Provide expertise on fabric selections, garment styles, and care instructions, assisting clients in making informed choices.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all completed garments meet luxury standards and are delivered in pristine condition.

• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on trends and advancements in bespoke tailoring, contributing ideas to maintain leadership in luxury fashion.
  

Requirements/Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years as a bespoke tailor in luxury fashion or high-end retail, with a strong portfolio of completed garments.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in pattern making, garment construction, and alterations, with impeccable attention to detail.

• Fabric Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of fabrics, linings, and finishes suitable for luxury tailoring.

• Client-Centric: Strong interpersonal skills and a refined sense of style to help clients feel confident and comfortable during the tailoring process.

• Organized and Efficient: Ability to manage time effectively, balancing multiple clients’ needs while maintaining high standards.

• Passion for Craftsmanship: Genuine passion for bespoke tailoring and dedication to delivering excellence in every piece.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods during fittings and garment construction.

• Manual dexterity for detailed hand-sewing and intricate garment adjustments.
