Shop Supervisor
Overview:
(Northwest Houston): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Plant Superintendent in Northwest Houston.
Essential Duties:

Communicate job status to customer service.

Perform quality check on all apparatus prior to shipment.

Supervise and maintain appropriate inventory of all shop supplies and materials.

Supervise and maintain ordering of all winding supplies and materials.
-
Maintenance and calibration of all shop instruments and equipment.
-
Maintain ship personnel job records and training.
-
Maintain current safety certification.
-
Place and monitor outside vendor orders as required.
-
Maintain vendor schedule and quality records.
-
Schedule pickups and shipments of customer apparatus.
-
Customer service.
-
Aid in scheduling job priorities.
-
Schedule building maintenance.
-
Project research.
-
Problem solving and employee issues.
-
Monitor and direct progress of new motor builds.
-
Report delays to Customer Service.
-
Hold scheduled safety meetings.
-
Motivate employee performance and discipline as needed.
-
Organize and arrange service calls.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Shop Foreman Supervision
-
Meet with and review jobs daily and maintain status records.
-
Review shop mechanic personnel records with Foreman.
-
Review job performance of Foreman.
Provide customer information and vendor schedule.
Truck Driver Supervision
-
Schedule pickups and deliveries.
-
Monitor maintenance of specified shop supplies.
-
Train and monitor performance.
-
Train and monitor purchasing.
Winder Supervision (In absence of Shop Foreman)

Review and maintain schedule for winding jobs.
-
Monitor productivity.
-
Review performance and maintain personnel records.
Sub-Sea
-
Schedule shipments to vendors.
-
Schedule pickup and deliveries.
-
Train and monitor performance.
-
Train and monitor purchasing.
-
Monitor productivity.
-
Review performance and maintain personnel records.
