Mold Processing Technician

(Conroe, Texas): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Mold Processing Technician.

Position Summary:
The Mold Processing Technician will be responsible for setting molds, starting machines, and managing ancillary equipment to validated parameters. This position will solve technical problems, mentor and guide Process Technicians, and assist in the development of scientific molding processes. The technician will also support the Molding Process Engineer with robot parameters, fixtures, and validations. Testing and troubleshooting of internal and external complaints, as well as qualification testing on equipment and fixtures, will also be part of the role. Ensuring a safe and organized work environment is crucial, along with holding others accountable for the same.

Essential Duties:

• Follow the production priority list to support manufacturing needs.

• Complete and submit Toolroom Work Requests (TWR) for mold repairs and preventive maintenance as necessary.

• Assist in creating, testing, improving, and validating products and processes.

• Execute validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) as required.

• Train molding staff on proper process validation adherence.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and guidelines.

• Set up and operate testing equipment to validate products and processes, if required.

• Perform tasks in accordance with applicable department requirements and policies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mold setting.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in molded component inspection using basic inspection equipment.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance for molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and automated equipment.

• RJG certifications are desired.

• Strong understanding of Lean concepts and the ability to demonstrate incremental improvement.

• Technical degree preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as necessary.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various machinery and equipment.

Shift:
1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday
