CNC VTL Machinist

Overview: (Houston, TX): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Lathe & VTL Machinist. The VTL Machinist will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with drilling, threading (tap & thread mill), boring, etc., while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls. The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. Must have basic hand & measuring tools, indicators, etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must have basic hand & measuring tools, indicators, etc. Exceptional attention to details. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Education: High school Diploma or equivalent form an accredited school or institution. Specialty certifications a plus. KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS Previous Experience: 10 years or more of experience required. Previous experience on parts 80” plus diameters.
