Overview:
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services is now assisting a prominent insurance firm in their search for a Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive, in serving the Gulf Coast Region, providing services in all aspects of insurance including commercial business insurance, risk management, car insurance, home or property insurance, flood insurance, natural disaster, marine insurance, liability insurance, employee health benefits, and payroll services
JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts including the processing of changes, renewals, performing rating &/or data entry as necessary, making calls to clients or company representatives or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by Producer or Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing client exposures and creating renewal strategies.
- Marketing renewals, negotiating coverage, rates, and compensation.
- Ensuring coverage accuracy and competitiveness.
- Identifying uninsured exposures and recommending solutions.
- Reviewing contracts for compliance and exposure gaps.
- Handling policy renewals, endorsements, and claims coordination.
- Maintaining organized documentation in the Agency Management System.
- Communicating with clients, brokers, and carriers.
- Processing changes, claims, and billing discrepancies.
- Managing policy audits and monthly reports.
- Delivering policy reviews and responding to client inquiries.
- Independently or collaboratively preparing key insurance documents such as ACORD applications, loss summaries, certificates of insurance, and invoices.
- Generating proposals, spreadsheets, and marketing submissions.
- Supporting producers with new business development.
- Managing renewal processes for clients, sometimes independently.
- Delegating tasks within the team and ensuring completion.
- Offering professional direction to colleagues and assisting with client presentations.
- Building relationships with clients, underwriters, and brokers
- Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Louisiana Property and Casualty License.
- 3+ years of commercial lines customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and underwriter interaction
- Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Additional industry designations like CISR, CIC, or CPCU.
- Experience with negotiation and client-facing presentations.
