    Mobile, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Designer for a confidential client in the furniture industry. This position requires a creative and customer-focused individual to assist clients in designing their spaces using the company’s products.

     

    Essential Duties:
    • Assist clients in designing their living spaces by selecting the appropriate furniture and materials based on their preferences and budget.
    • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to visually represent how furniture pieces will look in clients' rooms.
    • Provide expert guidance to clients on product selection, including furniture sets, materials, and styles that best fit their space and budget.
    • Answer all client questions regarding product specifications, material options, and design possibilities.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs and preferences are accurately captured and incorporated into the final design.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring client satisfaction throughout the design process.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.

     

    Requirements/Skills:
    • Proven experience in interior design or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in CAD software or other design tools.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
    • Strong knowledge of furniture styles, materials, and design principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Ability to work weekends as required.
    • Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design.

     

    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and move furniture samples, materials, and other items as needed.
