Overview: 

Kenner, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. 

Essential Duties: 

• Repair and rebuild small tools and machinery using shop manuals

• Identify, track, and maintain inventories of spare and repair parts

• Repair and maintain various industrial equipment and machinery

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on industrial systems and equipment

• Ensure a safe and clean working environment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills: 

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in all trades

• Proficient in the use of hand, power, and shop tools

• Ability to work closely with and follow instructions from senior technicians

• Experience with electro/mechanical systems such as automotive, HVAC, appliance repair, small engine repair, etc.

Physical Requirements 

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking

• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
