Turbine Mechanic
La Porte, TX - Flexblue Staffing is seeking experienced Turbine Mechanics for a long-term role.
Essential Duties:
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble turbomachinery.
• Work swing shifts, typically 50-60 hours per week.
Requirements/Skills:
• 5+ years of gas turbine mechanic experience.
• Experience as a shop-oriented turbine/compressor mechanic.
• Skilled in disassembling and reassembling engines and complex components.
• Willing to work heavy loads of 7-12's.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
• Possess basic hand tools, impacts, indicators, small diameter mics; willingness to acquire additional tools as needed.
• Strong numerical and documentation skills.
• Safety-oriented and team-focused.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of disassembling and reassembling turbomachinery.
• Ability to work extended hours and shifts as required.
