Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join a leading architecture firm in New Orleans as an Entry to Mid-Level Architect. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a fresh college graduate or someone with up to ten years of professional experience to gain hands-on experience in the field. The selected candidate will have the chance to work closely with a licensed architect and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial projects in the New Orleans area.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to develop architectural plans, drawings, and renderings for residential and commercial projects.

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and construction documents.

• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential information for project development.

• Contribute to the development of design concepts, incorporating client requirements and architectural principles.

• Utilize architectural software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or SketchUp, for drafting, modeling, and documentation purposes.

• Work closely with the licensed architect to learn and refine architectural skills.

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure successful execution.

• Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and building codes to ensure compliance and innovation in designs.

• Attend team meetings and actively participate in design discussions and critiques.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in using Revit software is preferred.

• Strong design sensibility and the ability to translate ideas into architectural drawings.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
