Technician

Stafford, Texas: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a highly skilled Technician 3- Tunnel Tech for our industrial laundry equipment team. This role is perfect for individuals with a solid background in industrial laundry systems, including automated systems. The successful candidate will have proven experience as an industrial laundry technician, with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of issues. Familiarity with automated industrial laundry systems, proficiency in reading technical documentation, and excellent problem-solving abilities are key for this position.

Essential Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on automated industrial laundry systems.

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical components like drums, bearings, belts, pulleys, and seals to identify and address wear, tear, or damage.

• Diagnose electrical problems, ensuring electrical connections, wiring, and components like heating elements, thermostats, and sensors function correctly.

• Configure and troubleshoot software interfaces to ensure seamless communication between system components.

• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, inspecting components for leaks, blockages, or wear, and replacing faulty parts as needed.

• Ensure the safety systems of the equipment, such as emergency stop buttons and safety switches, are functioning correctly.

• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements/Skills:

• Proven experience as an industrial laundry technician, with a focus on automated systems.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

• Proficiency in reading equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and perform repairs.

• Experience in software configuration and troubleshooting for industrial laundry systems.

• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to maintain and repair these systems.

• Familiarity with safety systems and protocols.

Education:
