Warehouse Associate
Overview:
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing client’s team. Our client is a leading provider in their industry, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to their customers.
Essential Duties:

Efficiently and accurately handle incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse

Perform inventory control activities, including stock counting and reconciling discrepancies

Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner
-
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products for shipment

Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
-
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely and secure handling of goods
-
Follow company policies and procedures to uphold safety and quality standards

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow
Requirements/Skills:

Valid Driver’s License

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus

Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
Physical Requirements:

Lifting Ability: The Warehouse Associate must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 pounds] regularly throughout the workday, and occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance

Physical Stamina: This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements. The Warehouse Associate should have the physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced warehouse environment

Material Handling Equipment Operation: The candidate must be capable of safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, requiring good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to navigate and maneuver equipment efficiently and safely
