Diesel Mechanic Position - Harahan, Louisiana
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team, offering a range of marine and commercial fabrication services. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring high-quality maintenance and repair of diesel engines, with a focus on marine industry applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines, specializing in CAT, Cummins, and John Deere engines.

Perform both in-shop work and field service as required, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and problem-solving skills.

Use basic hand tools effectively to perform duties.

Collaborate with the team, maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to a productive work environment.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related role in the industry.

Expertise in handling various diesel engine types, particularly in the marine sector, is highly desirable.

Ability to manage a varied workload, including availability for overtime as needed.
Schedule:

Standard hours: 0700 - 1530

Overtime availability is required.
Compensation:

$25 - $32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
