We are hiring a Maintenance Coordinator in Scranton, PA!


Job Summary: This Maintenance role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery for enzyme production while ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and food safety standards. Responsibilities include record-keeping and adhering to quality guidelines. Reports to the Operations Manager.


Job Title: Maintenance

Schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D


Essential Job Functions

  • Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment and facilities.
  • Perform general and preventative maintenance to assure minimal downtime
  • Maintain necessary parts and supplies for all plant equipment.
  • Accurately and legibly record and maintain all maintenance logs and documentation required to ensure complete records of work.
  • Operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools and make required parts when necessary.
  • Conduct pest control inspections and maintenance as per the Pest Control Program.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties for the maintenance area and other areas as assigned by the Operations Manager.
  • Follow all SOPs, cGMPs, and the Food Safety Plan plan to ensure adherence to EDC Quality and Food Safety and Defense Standards.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and Chemical Handling SOPs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, and Management to detect and correct problems with Food Safety and Defense.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate welding equipment and various hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals.


Other Skills/Abilities

  • Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching; heavy lifting and moving of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and general OSHA regulations.
