Job Title: Sit-down Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will operate dual/quad forklifts to support daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse processes, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Schedule: 6 AM - 2:30 PM & 3:30 PM - 11 PM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a dual/quad forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with both internal team members and external customers.
• Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA and CTPS safety standards.
• Accurately complete daily forklift safety checklists in a timely manner.
• Follow all quality system protocols in compliance with CTPS and SQF standards.
• Consistently lift and move up to 55 lbs throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and management.
• Practice “clean as you go” standards and maintain overall housekeeping on the production floor.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

• Understanding of transport packaging in a production-based warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and SQF requirements.
• Knowledge of 5S Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a high-volume environment (certification preferred).
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Effective verbal communication skills with both team members and clients.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience (dual/quad forks preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
