We are hiring for a Part-Time Admin Assistant for a church on the Westside of Jacksonville.

 

Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 12:00 noon.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Handle communications, reporting and publications, with a close attention to detail/proofreading.

 

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

 

  • Take accurate messages and relay them promptly to the appropriate staff

 

  • Greet walk-ins and assist with general inquiries

 

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

 

  • Perform other light administrative tasks as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Friendly and professional demeanor
