Inventory Clerk with Excel Skills

Inventory clerk with strong MS Excel skills needed on manufacturing facility on the Westside of Jacksonville.

Pay $17.75 - $20.15/hr

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 6pm

The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving daily shipments of raw materials and inspecting them for damage, issuing to the correct production line, conducting inventory tracking and vendor performance review audits and reporting the results daily.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Receiving /inspection (10%):

   • Receive bill of lading and packing list from truck drivers.

   • Record time date and other details in the bill of lading and receiving log.

   • Verify the pallet count matches the shipping schedule.

   • Inspect all pallets for good condition including shock tag status, pallet damage, moisture, mold/mildew, etc.

   • Communicate with truck drivers/yard jockey on dock placement, trailer staging in the yard, etc.

2. Issuing Materials (75%):

   • Determine which line the material needs to be issued to.

   • Scan the material (outbound), label the material, close out the reservation.

   • Inbound any materials that are not available to outbound automatically.

   • Collaborate with material coordinator when outbound/inbound issues arrive.

3. Inventory and Performance Review Audit Reporting (15%):

   • Assist with the monthly inventory cycle counts by conducting physical inventory counts at warehouses.

   • Complete daily verification of raw materials ordered vs. raw materials delivered and report on findings daily.

   • Complete daily verification of shipping schedule adherence. (*Truck order, truck arrival time, bill of lading accuracy, daily truck count, etc.)

Key Requirements & Competencies:

• • High School Diploma

  • Familiarity with MS Office suite especially Excel

  • Strong computer skills, and ability to quickly adapt to new programs and systems.

  • Familiarity with locking and chocking trailers, pallet jack use, forklift use preferred!

  • Familiarity with SAP strongly preferred!

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a clerk or other related warehouse position.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision after initial training period.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred!
