We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance Tech for an established manufacturer in the Green Cove Springs, FL area to support manufacturing operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and general repair. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all employees.
Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm
Job Duties of the Facility Maintenance Tech:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility equipment and systems.
Maintain lighting, doors, ceilings, flooring, and general office/building upkeep.
Conduct preventative maintenance on facility systems to minimize downtime.
Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency requests.
Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist with equipment moves, facility renovations, and special projects as assigned.
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications of the Facility Maintenance Tech:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
