Machine Operator

We are seeking a Dayshift Machine Operator for an established company on the Westside of Jacksonville, FL. As a part of the production team, the Machine Operator will work closely with all operators and departments to ensure minimum downtime, peak performance, and high-quality products.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3pm

Job Duties of the Machine Operator:

• Practice safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers.

• Adhere to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

• Know safety equipment and be aware of machine safety procedures.

• Work effectively in a team environment.

• Know machine terminology and parts.

• Read and understand Build Sheets.

• Organize and perform changeovers.

• Perform machine startup and operation.

• Perform shift preparations.

• Make accurate scrap and production entries.

• Maintain a clean work area.

Skills and Qualifications of the Machine Operator:

• Experience in machine operation

• Excellent attention to detail

• A stable job history

• Willingness to learn

• Reliable transportation

• Steel toe shoes are required.
