Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position would be set-up and programming NC machinery. They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.
Job Duties:
•Set up and adjust CNC mill and CNC lathe machines according to specifications, including programming Fanuc and other programmable logic controllers.
•Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
•Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other technical documents to determine machining processes.
•Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
•Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
•Handle materials using forklifts and assist with materials handling and packaging operations.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
•Experience with CNC Set up and programming
•Familiarity with various tools including hand tools
•Must be able to read, write and follow both verbal and written instructions.
