Ready Mix Batch Plant Operator

Location: Ocala

Pay: $27/hr DOE

Schedule: Varies (Open availability necessary)

We’re seeking a reliable Batch Plant Operator to oversee the production of ready mix concrete. This role requires experience in batching systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You'll operate batching equipment, ensure mix accuracy, and coordinate with dispatch and drivers to meet daily production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Batch concrete mixes according to specifications using computer controls

• Verify correct admixtures and mix designs for every load

• Monitor and maintain raw material inventory levels

• Keep accurate production logs and inspection records

• Communicate with dispatch and drivers for scheduling and load coordination

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant and equipment

• Perform basic math calculations related to batching

• Operate all equipment safely and in compliance with company standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in ready mix batching or plant operations

• Working knowledge of batching software and equipment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work variable hours based on job scheduling
