Job Responsibilities:
Build, fit, and repair precision tools: jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies, molds, and special tooling.
Job Duties:
•Read and interpret drawings and CAD models, including GD&T; verify manufacturability and tolerances.
•Set up and operate machines: manual/CNC mills & lathes, grinders (surface, cylindrical), CNC/hand jig borers, and EDM (wire/sinker).
•Precision measurement: use micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators, CMM; complete inspection reports.
•Tool assembly & tryout: fit components, blue-in, adjust clearances, conduct first-off trials, debug issues.
•Maintenance & repair: diagnose wear/failures, perform preventive maintenance and refurbish tooling.
•Process improvement: suggest design tweaks, tolerance changes, and build methods to reduce cost/lead time.
•Documentation: update tool drawings, BOMs, setup sheets, maintenance logs, and change records (ECNs).

Skills and Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience with Tool Making or related field.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Precision Measurements knowledge.
• Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours throughout a shift.
