Sr. Process Technician

Job Responsibilities: Be a subject matter expert on machines in multiple areas, including but not limited to; set-up, programming, and process/machine improvement. Job Duties: •Demonstrate the ability & knowledge to perform machine set-ups and programming in assigned areas. •Document machine “Work Breakdown Instructions” as needed. •Be a leader in corrective action process and continuous improvement activities. •Work toward process improvements, focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. •Measure first piece for conformance to specifications on print and routing. •Monitor tooling (wheels, holder, grit, tips, etc.) for wear and request replacement or repair of fixtures with coordinator or Production Manager. •Research new methods of manufacturing and inspection. •Work with routing, planning, and engineering to update current jobs, including fixtures, process, and design. •Verify calibration of gauge equipment prior to use. •Proactively train team members in process improvement to ensure root cause solutions. •Provide coverage for areas based on production needs.
