Stacker overnight shift

We are hiring for stackers in a manufacturing environment on the Southside of Jacksonville.

Shift: 7pm to 7:30am, on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

Pay: $14.40/hr

Stacker ensures that the final product is stacked properly on pallets so that it can be shipped to the customer. This position is responsible for the ensuring proper product count on the pallet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform shift change with the outgoing operator.

• Ensure the quantity cases/bundles on the pallet.

• Keep work area clean and well organized and all broken bins and trash cans are emptied.

• Document and communicate any quality issues with the Team Leader.

• Efficiently utilize time by working in other areas when waiting on product.

• Take bales off to the baler throughout the shift.

• Know, understand, comply and be actively engaged with the safety procedures, safety policies, and internal regulations and controls.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to work safely and address safety issues.

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions or procedures.

• Exercise and make sound decisions as required to perform the job.

• Ability to troubleshoot machine and quality issues.

• Ability to work as a team and to work independently without a high level of supervision.

• Able to understand English

• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment

• Able to lift 50 pounds

Steel Toe shoes required
