We are seeking a Mechanic for an established company in the Ocala FL area.
Job Duties of the Mechanic:
Perform diagnostic tests to find faults.
Analyze diagnostic test results.
Perform mechanical repairs on small power equipment.
Perform routine maintenance procedures and prepare repair estimates.
Perform tasks in an efficient and safe manner.
Maintain good housekeeping and 5S shop standards.
Skills and Qualifications of the Mechanic:
2+ years’ experience repairing small power equipment.
Must have experience repairing small power equipment or marine outboard engines.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to read technical manuals, exploded parts diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
Must have in-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines and their operations.
Must have superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment.
Must be comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
Must have excellent problem-solving skills
Must have advanced knowledge and understanding on mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work long periods standing and repeatedly kneeling.
Must be able to lift over 40 lbs. repeatedly.
Must be able to work in a hot and humid environment.
