Temp to Hire

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating nail guns properly to ensure the wood doesn’t splinter and operating them safely to ensure you’re aiming correctly and avoiding injury.
• Operating chop, panel, table, and hand saws to assemble walls for modular homes and offices.
• Using framing hammers and other hand tools for assembly of the wall panels.
• Working with tight deadlines to meet goals.
• Keeping the work area clean and organized for safety purposes.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• Seeking 1 year of basic construction AND manufacturing experience
• Able to accurately read and use a tape measure down to 1/16^th of an inch
• Able to identify basic lumber products by size, type, and species by sight
• Able to read, interpret and understand all aspects of written build sheets
• Can identify the different components, measurements, materials, species, and nail patterns
• Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
• Knowledge of component manufacturing process used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
• Attention to detail – ability to take pride in your quality of work
• Strong basic math skills
• Thrive in a team environment
• Can communicate effectively with team members
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently
• Must be able to stand/walk/bend/twist for shift hours.
• Understanding of safety practices and need to wear all PPE daily

((Must have your own steel or composite toed shoes, plus a hammer and tape measure.))

Pay Rate: $21.06/hour to start with pay increases and bonuses

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 5am to 1:30pm with overtime if/as needed

Location:  North Denver, near I-25 and 58th Ave

Criminal Background check required – results reviewed case by case

Drug Screen required – THC is not tested for pre-employment
