Production Technician (Brazing/Welder) - 1st Shift

SUMMARY:  Production Technician (Brazing) job opportunity for our manufacturing client, based in Broomfield, who specializes in providing products used for compressed air treatment systems such as industrial dryers and refrigerated dryers. This opportunity is temp to hire.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Using mechanical and electrical assembly techniques, assembles components, sub-assemblies, and major components to manufacture air pressurization equipment. 
• Must have working knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools to perform the job. 
• Will be brazing / soldering copper pipes for refrigeration systems installation in some air pressurized cabinets and equipment. 
• May be required to perform basic troubleshooting to make changes or adjustments to prints and parts to complete the assembly. 
• Inspect own work to ensure operational and accurate. 
• Verify each installation to operational method sheet. 
• Assist and in time train co-workers. 
• Follow safe job practices. 
• Verify equipment functions and accuracy. 
• Perform preventative maintenance as required and ensure the work environment is safe. 
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

EDUCATION / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED required 
• Must have 1+ years of brazing (hot work) experience (copper pipe) 
• Experience with hand & power tools in a manufacturing environment required 
• Can follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices 
• Lifting up to 50lbs as needed. 
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.

SHIFT/HOURS:  Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime if/as needed. 

PAY RANGE:  $21.00/hr to $23.00/hr, DOE

LOCATION:  Broomfield

Can pass a pre-employment drug screen (THC included) and criminal background check.
