Customer Service Representative Description:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support a fast-paced manufacturing office. This role is the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and order tracking. You’ll work closely with multiple departments to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Duties and Requirements:
Answer customer calls and emails regarding technical issues, complaints, and return orders.
Enter and manage complaints in the internal system, partnering with the Quality team for resolutions.
Process and follow up on replacement and return orders in a timely manner.
Actively monitor RMAs and open sales orders to ensure timely action.
Send order confirmations and provide accurate delivery estimates.
Use shipping broker tools and UPS to generate shipping quotes.
Communicate with Finance regarding customer credit concerns.
Collaborate daily with Sales Area Managers, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Shipping.
Enter and manage orders in Microsoft Business Central ERP system.
Use Microsoft Office Suite to track internal KPIs and manage documentation.
Understand logistics and transportation processes.
Bring strong communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills to every task.
