We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Shipping & Crating Associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Jasper, GA. This role involves safely packaging cabinetry products and building custom crates for shipment. You’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and play a key role in ensuring each product is shipped securely and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Package finished cabinets and components using foam, wrap, straps, edge protectors, and other materials
Construct custom wooden crates and skids tailored to product specifications
Accurately label and mark packages for shipping and handling
Conduct final visual inspections before packaging
Operate nail guns, saws, staplers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
Assist with loading completed packages onto pallets or trucks
Work safely in a non-climate controlled environment and follow shop floor procedures
Requirements:
Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Experience with hand tools and light equipment preferred
