Role and Responsibilities
• We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and all aspects of the facility maintenance.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Retrofitting light fixtures.
• Maintain heating / cooling systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix doors, ceiling tiles, etc.)
• Preventive maintenance on air handler units.
• Troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Responding to temperature and humidity issue for the clean rooms.
• Repairing pumps.
• Responding to plumbing issues.
• Responding to plumbing issues in the restrooms.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• At least 5 years of Facility maintenance experience.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• Computer skills using a laptop and iPad.
Preferred Skills
• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment’s such scissor / boom lifts.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical skills a must.
• Knowledge of steam systems.
• Plumbing skills a must.
