Cleanroom Production Tech 1

DESCRIPTIONS

· Experience working in a cleanroom environment utilizing industry standard ESD practice.

· Proficient in small/component parts, skills in soldering and use of semi-automated tooling for building and testing on HSA & HDD lines.

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

· Perform assembly work using a microscope and small hand tools such as tweezers, and razor blades in a cleanroom environment.

· Understand and apply all manufacturing procedures and other necessary documentation as it relates to the product line.

· Work with assigned equipment and recognize mechanical problems as they arise.

· Comply with all safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

· Performs basic maintenance on tools or equipment and notifies supervisor of needed repairs.

· Dependability – Follows instructions, respond to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; completes tasks correctly and on time, or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.

· Performs other duties assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical device assembly (soldering, general knowledge of cleanroom and procedures).
• Experienced using electrical device equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing principles practices, and procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge in computers - accessing email, training, and documents via company network.
• This position will be performed in a clean room production environment which requires certain preparation and gowning practices.
• Must be able to complete repetitive movements for extensive periods of time.
• Must be able to work overtime as requested.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in the line with very minimal supervision.
