Our client, a pioneering force in the integration of intelligent machines within the food industry, is seeking an Automation and Robotics Operator to join their mission. This organization is at the forefront of using AI in connection with robotics to transform food manufacturing, with strong backing from top tech investors and significant contracts in the food industry.


The Role

The Automation and Robotics Operator will be instrumental in transforming food manufacturing processes, using cutting-edge robotics to enhance the production of food products for commercial kitchens and food manufacturers. This role requires direct involvement in the setup, operation, and maintenance of robotic systems, ensuring their optimal performance and integration into client operations.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • - Coordinate onsite schedule of robots with client’s manufacturing plans.
  • - Assist the client's assembly line leaders in planning for the use of robots.
  • - Work alongside line supervisors to position robots on the production line.
  • - Configure robots for specific ingredients and meals.
  • - Serve as an on-site resource for troubleshooting, minor repairs, and continuous training to ensure clients can operate the robots efficiently.
  • - Coordinate and execute inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on robots in the field.
  • - Train clients on operation and maintenance, ensuring they can effectively use the technology.
  • - Recognize, communicate, and document product issues, complaints, and improvements.


Requirements:

  • - A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing support role is necessary, showcasing a strong background in manufacturing operations and a deep understanding of our clients' needs.
  • - Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and on-call hours, to accommodate client schedules.
  • - Spanish language working proficiency is a requirement, aiding in effective communication with a diverse client base.
  • - Experience in manufacturing automation is highly desirable, indicating a familiarity with advanced technology and automated systems.
  • - An associate degree in a related field is preferred, providing a foundational understanding of technical principles.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, ensuring clear and effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • - Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately document tasks and issues are required.
