Line Packer | Food Manufacturing

General Description: This position is responsible for working in a variety of functions within the manufacturing area. Responsibilities may include filling product, closing packets, sealing, coding, applying labels, hand palletizing, and sorting product.   

This would be a basic light labor position. No prior experience is necessary.   

Example of job duties and criteria include: 

•  Follow Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines and Quality technician instructions.
•  Assist with product handling, packaging, and identification. 
•  Report deficiencies to Quality Technician supervising the line immediately.  

Required Experience/ Knowledge and Physical Demands:   

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
• Ability to work in a standing position for 8 hrs. 
• Work well with hands, fingers, and wrists as candidate will be moving and working with packets, jars, and other packaging form factors. 
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching around equipment.
