Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solventless Extraction Technician to join our client’s team. This role is crucial in producing high-quality hash using ice water extraction methods. The ideal candidate has experience with solventless extraction techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor ice water extraction equipment to produce high-quality solventless hash.
Handle and process flower material with precision, ensuring maximum yield and purity.
Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols for equipment and workspaces.
Monitor and adjust water temperature, agitation speed, and other extraction variables.
Collect, separate, and dry trichomes using proper filtration and drying techniques.
Accurately weigh, label, and track product batches to ensure consistency and compliance.
Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines for handling cannabis products.
Assist with post-processing tasks, including curing, storage, and packaging.
Maintain detailed logs and records of extraction processes and outcomes.
Collaborate with the extraction team to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in solventless extraction, hash-making, or related flower processing.
Knowledge of ice water extraction techniques and best practices.
Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
Familiarity with weighing, labeling, and inventory tracking.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Passion for cannabis and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a licensed flower facility.
Knowledge of different cannabis strains and their impact on solventless extraction.
Background in lab work, food production, or related industries.
Due to industry requirements, candidates must be 21 years or older.
