Packaging Assistant

Location: Eureka, CA

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start Date: Continuously recruiting (Depending)

Pay Range: $16.50/hr - $19/hr DOE

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packaging flower.

Responsibilities:

• Packaging: Properly weigh and package  flower into 1/8th jars
• Quality Control: Inspect  flower for quality and consistency before packaging to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
• Labeling: Apply appropriate labels to each jar according to product specifications and regulatory requirements
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels of packaging materials
• Sanitation: Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Compliance: Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the packaging and handling of cannabis products
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Due to industry requirements, candidates must be 21 years or older.
