Job Title: Director of Operations - Cannabis Hash Company

We are currently working with a leading cannabis company specializing in the production of high-quality hash products. Committed to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead their operational initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of their organization.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership to the operational team, overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to product distribution.
- Collaborate with suppliers, ensuring timely and quality procurement of materials.
Production Oversight:
- Manage and optimize the production processes for hash extraction and refinement.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of evolving cannabis regulations and ensure operational compliance.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
Cost Management:
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product innovation.
Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Implement quality assurance programs to uphold product integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within the cannabis industry, with a focus on hash production.
- Strong understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. $80,000+/year
