Job Title: Cannabis Nursery Clone Technician
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Hourly Pay: $18/hour
Job Summary: As a Cannabis Nursery Clone Technician, you will be responsible for the cloning process, ensuring the production of genetically identical and healthy cannabis plants. Your role involves precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
Cloning: Perform cloning activities, including cutting, rooting, and transplanting cannabis clones
Propagation: Assist in the propagation of cannabis plants through various methods such as cuttings and tissue culture
Plant Care: Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of clones, ensuring optimal growing conditions
Environmental Control: Help maintain appropriate environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting, to support plant growth
Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of cloning activities, including the number of clones produced, growth rates, and any issues encountered
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain cloning equipment, ensuring proper functionality
Hygiene and Sanitation: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation practices to prevent the spread of pests and diseases
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and share knowledge and insights
Requirements:
Previous experience in horticulture or cannabis cultivation is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve manual dexterity
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential
Must be 21 years or older to work with cannabis
Must present documentation you can legally work in the U.S
