Job Title: Hash Washing Assistant

Location: Oakland, CA

Hours: 2PM-10:30PM (Mon-Thur) 9am-5:30PM (Sundays)

Start Date: Immediate (Temp to Full-Time)

Salary: $19/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Hash Washing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our production process, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the hash washing and packaging operations.

Responsibilities:

Hash Preparation:

• Equipment Preparation: Clean and sanitize hash washing equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Product Processing: Handle and process hash materials with precision and attention to quality standards
• Cleaning Protocols: Follow rigorous cleaning procedures for all equipment and workspaces
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of hash-washing activities and inventory levels
• Quality Control: Adhere to Quality Control (QC) protocols to guarantee the consistency and quality of the hash product
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow

Packaging Preparation:

• Clean, prepare, and organize boxes, jars, lids, and other packaging materials
• Labeling: Apply stickers to boxes, ensuring accurate and attractive packaging for sales
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the packaging facility clean and organized, disposing of waste and maintaining a pristine work area
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of packaging and inventory activities
• Quality Assurance: Enforce a culture of safety and attention to detail in all packaging processes
• Collaboration: Work respectfully and collectively with team members to achieve common goals

Requirements:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on hash processing preferred
• Background in the cannabis industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong numerical skills and basic math; experience with inventory management is desired.
• Detail-oriented with an eye for process improvement and optimization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-stress situations
• Comfortable working in cold environments (30-40°F) for extended periods
• Capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday
• Openness to constructive criticism and guidance; ability to offer the same to others in the department
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary

• Must be 21 years or older to work with cannabis

• Must present documentation you can legally work in the U.S
