Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Cannabis Farm Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cannabis cultivation, from seed/clone to harvest. This includes managing the cultivation process, ensuring plant health, and leading a team of farmhands. The position requires previous experience in cannabis cultivation, particularly in managerial settings.
Responsibilities:
Cultivation Oversight:
- Manage the entire cannabis cultivation process, from seed/clone to harvest.
- Implement and maintain cultivation schedules and practices to ensure optimal plant health and yield.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and guide a team of farmhands, providing clear directions and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and maintain the quality of cannabis crops throughout the cultivation process.
- Implement pest management strategies to ensure a healthy crop.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations governing cannabis cultivation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cultivation activities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in cannabis cultivation with a focus on managerial settings.
- Familiarity with all stages of cannabis cultivation, including propagation, vegetation, and flowering.
Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of pest management techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outdoor cannabis farming is a plus.
- Previous experience in managing a team of farmhands.
