Job Title: Dispensary Safety Liaison

Salary: $18/hr
Position Type: Part-time
Schedule: Wed - Friday; 3:45PM-9:30PM, Saturday; 10AM-3:45PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Dispensary Safety Liaison. The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking in customers, ensuring effective communication while on the dispensary premises, observing customer interactions, and assisting with various operational tasks. The Dispensary Safety Liaison will play a crucial role in communicating ways to secure the environment and enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Checking-In customers upon entry using POS systems
- Answering questions from customers as applicable
Conduct regular walkthroughs throughout the dispensary premises to monitor for any signs of suspicious activity
Supervise customer traffic and ensure compliance with dispensary policies and procedures
Greet customers upon entry and provide assistance or guidance as needed
Escort vendors and service personnel as they enter and exit the building
Maintain a visible presence in high-traffic areas to deter theft or other unlawful activities
Monitor register area during cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
Report any incidents, policy violations, or security concerns to management and/or law enforcement promptly
Collaborate with dispensary staff to address customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements governing the operation of a cannabis dispensary
Obtaining a guard card after converting
Qualifications:
Prior experience in security, customer service, or retail environment is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm under pressure
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of cannabis laws and regulations (preferred but not required)
Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform light lifting throughout shifts
