Job Title: Farmhand - Indoor Cultivation Facility
Location: McKinleyville, CA
Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time, Hourly
Shifts Available: Various shifts between 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, as needed
Hourly Rate: $17/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Farmhands for a state-of-the-art indoor cultivation facility. As a Farmhand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility, contributing to the growth and success of the agricultural endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivation Support:
- Assist in the cultivation of various crops within the indoor facility.
- Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions for plant growth.
- Execute tasks related to planting, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting.
Facility Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and cultivation areas.
- Ensure proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Harvesting and Packaging:
- Participate in the harvesting process, ensuring timely and careful collection of flowers.
- Package harvested produce according to established guidelines.
- Contribute to quality control measures to maintain high standards.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding work progress and challenges.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the indoor cultivation facility.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Follow compliance standards and regulations related to indoor cultivation.
Qualifications:
- -Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field is desirable but not required
- -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- -Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- -Physical fitness and stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and performing manual tasks
- -Flexibility to work various shifts within the 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM timeframe as per the facility's needs
