Job Title: Cannabis Sorter/Consolidator

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay Range: $16.50/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Processing Assistant to join our team in handling cannabis products. This role involves sorting through trimmed cannabis products, separating buds into different categories, removing unwanted materials, weighing, and packaging. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of maintaining high standards of product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Sorting and Grading: Sort trimmed cannabis buds into designated categories (A, B, C) based on quality standards.
• Debudding: Use swifter tools to remove any leafs, small branches, or unwanted materials from the buds.
• Quality Control: Inspect buds for abnormalities such as mold, pests, or physical damage, and take appropriate action as per company guidelines.
• Weighing: Accurately weigh sorted buds and ensure compliance with weight regulations.
• Packaging: Properly package sorted buds into designated containers or bags, ensuring proper labeling and sealing.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of sorted batches, including weights, grades, and any abnormalities encountered during processing.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work area clean and organized, including regular cleaning and maintenance of processing equipment.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the handling and processing of cannabis products.

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully inspect cannabis products for quality and consistency.
• Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling delicate materials and using tools such as swifter efficiently.
• Organization: Capability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Integrity: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and compliance with legal regulations in the cannabis industry.
• Prior Experience: Previous experience in cannabis processing or a similar field is desirable but not essential.

• Must be 21 years or older to work with cannabis

• Must present documentation you can legally work in the U.S
