Job Title: Flower Material Prep
Location: Eureka, CA
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5PM, Monday - Saturday
Start Date: Continuously recruiting (Depending on clients)
Pay Range: $16.50/hour
Job Summary:
The Flower Material Prep Technician is responsible for accurately packing flower material into socks according to company standards and procedures. This role ensures proper handling, storage, and documentation while maintaining compliance with safety and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack socks (nylon bags) with flower material according to company standards and procedures.
Ensure proper handling and storage of flower material to maintain product integrity.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
Utilize precision scales to accurately measure and record weights of cannabis material.
Maintain detailed records of material preparation, weighing, and any relevant production data.
Report any quality issues or deviations from standards to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure a seamless workflow and efficient operations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any concerns.
Requirements:
Previous experience in flower processing, packaging, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Familiarity with handling and weighing cannabis materials is a plus.
Ability to follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Must pass any required background checks per local and state cannabis regulations.
