Job Description:
As a Budtender, you will be the face of the dispensary and play a crucial role in providing an outstanding customer experience. You will assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products, educate them on the various strains and consumption methods, and ensure compliance with all state and local regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of cannabis, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods to provide accurate recommendations.
Sales: Make product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences and complete sales transactions accurately.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to state and local cannabis regulations, including verifying customer identification and product labeling.
Inventory Management: Assist in restocking and organizing products on the sales floor, ensuring accurate product information and pricing.
Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment, following security and safety protocols.
Education: Educate customers about responsible cannabis use, dosage, and potential effects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Some college coursework preferred).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Must be 21 years of age or older in compliance with state cannabis regulations.
Pay:
$15.50/hour + tips
