Job Description:
As a Cannabis Packaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our cannabis products. You will be responsible for accurately and securely packaging cannabis products in accordance with legal regulations and company standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging and Labeling: Accurately weigh, package, and label cannabis products following established procedures and guidelines.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or discrepancies and ensure they meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking and recording all packaging materials used and reporting shortages.
Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labeling, including proper handling and tracking of products.
Safety: Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a production or packaging role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Knowledge of cannabis packaging regulations (or willingness to learn) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older in compliance with state cannabis regulations.
Pay:
$15.50-20/hour
