Responsible for day-to-day activities of the quality control lab, including finished product QC and raw materials QC. Provide communication and troubleshooting support to manufacturing personnel. Duties and responsibilities • Ensure that the aerosol products meet ABC Compounding standards. • Assist in formulating products to meet specified requirements. • Review and maintain accurate records of test results, batch records, and other required documentation to ensure traceability and compliance. • Analytical (GC) and wet chemistry analysis. • Check production BOMs, which include all aerosol chemicals, parts, labels, and finished goods. • GC analysis, methods development, and basic GC troubleshooting/maintenance. • Assist with implementation of safety, health, and regulatory programs. • Assist plant operations personnel with quality and processing questions. • Maintain a clean and efficiently operating laboratory. Qualifications • BA/BS in Chemistry (related field) preferred • Aerosol/Manufacturing experience preferred. • Proficiency with GC. • Wet chemistry skills; knowledge of laboratory testing procedures • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Computer proficient; working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel Pay range: $21-$24 per hour and pending experience Schedule: Monday to Friday (5am-1:30pm plus overtime)
