Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality programs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and internal quality standards, supervising the quality control team, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food safety, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven leadership skills to drive product excellence and customer satisfaction.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of food safety principles and food processing operations

  • Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation protocols in a food production facility

  • Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities

  • Prior experience with USDA, FDA, GMP audits preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and recommend quality policies and procedures to ensure high standards in product, process, and service quality

  2. Communicate quality programs and standards to Quality Control Technicians and plant employees

  3. Supervise, train, and support Quality Control Technicians to maintain consistent inspection practices

  4. Investigate non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions

  5. Provide training to operations, maintenance, and receiving personnel on quality and food safety protocols

  6. Maintain open communication and effective working relationships with the quality assurance team, operations staff, and USDA personnel

  7. Ensure compliance with all USDA regulations and that company and customer quality expectations are consistently met or exceeded
