Daily Workflow:
» Perform skilled fitting of parts, sub-assemblies and related units
» Align, adjust and require secondary machining
» Work from complicated assembly drawings and specifications
» Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to ensure proper fit
» Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners
» Work with assembly fixtures and power and air bench tools
» Able to assemble all sub-assemblies
» Able to assemble custom orders
» Double check accuracy and quality of product assembled
» Recognize and report defective parts
» Some lifting required of up to 50 pounds
» Maintain excellent communication with other department staff
» Consistently work on process improvement
» Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts
» Check work and procedures of assemblers of lower classification
» Record production activity into ERP computer system
» Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
We’re Seeking:
» High School Diploma or GED required
» Three years related experience.
» Effectively communicates (written/verbal) with personnel from all departments.
» Heavy lifting required, up to 50 lbs.
» Excellent organizational skills.
» Must Pass Background Check
» Must pass Drug Screen (THC Okay)
Schedule:
» Monday – Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
