Position can be worked remotely by a self-directed professional with strong qualifications. Relocation assistance is available if a move to Grants Pass, OR is desired. Financial assistance with any license transfers to the state of Oregon would also be offered.

» We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering firm specializing in providing innovative solutions for commercial and industrial
» This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical design, system coordination, and project management
» The ideal candidate will have experience in the integration of electrical systems in architectural projects and will help facilitate the expansion of business in Oregon and retaining California accounts
Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary with Annual Bonus: Benefits including: Health & vision insurance, 401k plan, paid time off, paid sick time, paid holidays
Daily Workflow:
» Electrical Design: Lead the design and coordination of electrical systems for various building types, including power distribution, lighting, mechanical, and plumbing coordination
» Utility Coordination: Manage the integration of utility service entrances, ensuring the seamless coordination of power, lighting, and mechanical systems
» Software Proficiency: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for designing and drafting electrical systems to meet project requirements and specifications
» Project Management: Work closely with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and coordination of electrical designs for each project
» Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local and national codes and regulations, specifically in California and Oregon
» Licensing: Maintain an active Electrical Engineer license in Oregon and/or California. If not licensed in California, the candidate must be willing to apply for licensure
» Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project objectives are met in a timely manner while adhering to budget and quality standards
» Travel: While the position is primarily based in Grants Pass, Oregon, there may be infrequent travel on a case-by-case basis
We’re Seeking (skills, education, and screenings):
» Licensure: Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer in Oregon and/or California (or willing to apply for licensure in Oregon and/or California)
» Experience: At least 3 years of experience in architectural project design, including electrical system coordination (power, lighting, mechanical, plumbing)
» Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design
» Project Experience: Background in Construction; commercial, industrial, and residential electrical system design
» Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders
» Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
» Team Environment: The company is seeking someone who aligns with their values and is looking for a long-term career with opportunities to grow within the company
» Background Check: Candidates will need to be able to pass a criminal background check to be hired
