Utility Construction Worker

Ground Worker (1692872)     $18 – 25 per hour DOE

Medford, OR 

Part Time; Temp-To-Hire

Culture:

» Join a local excavation company handling site & utility preparation for residential and commercial properties.

» Good opportunity for getting into heavy equipment operation.

» Occasional paid lunches and water supplied.

Daily Workflow:

» Perform heavy manual labor such as digging, trenching, grading, and lifting.

» Work outdoors, within the Rogue Valley, in all weather conditions 

» Operate heavy equipment such as, excavators, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and dump trucks.

» Assist in the installation & maintenance of piping for sewage, water, and electric lines.

We’re Seeking:

» Physically fit and capable of heavy manual labor

» Reliable and “can do” attitude 

» Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

» Good communication and ability to work as part of a team

» Prior equipment operation experience is a plus (not required) 

» OSHA Safety, ODOT Flaggers Certification and CDL A is a plus 

Schedule:

» Monday – Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
